According to data from analytics firm Santiment, the share of large Bitcoin holders in the total supply of the cryptocurrency has reached a 9-month low. This trend is due to the fact that during the price decline, large investors are realizing their profits by selling part of their holdings.
At the same time, retail traders, on the contrary, are increasing their investments in Bitcoin. This is a classic model of market participant behavior during a bearish trend: large players exit the market, while small investors try to 'buy the bottom'.
