Bitdeer expands its mining hardware lineup
Bitdeer, the prominent Chinese cloud mining provider, has unveiled the new SEALMINER DL1 Air - a specialized machine for mining Litecoin and Dogecoin, which use the Scrypt algorithm.
Unlike popular ASIC miners designed for Bitcoin mining, Bitdeer's new devices are tailored for more energy-efficient and affordable altcoin mining. Such equipment is becoming increasingly in demand amid growing interest in coins like Litecoin and Dogecoin, which can still be profitably mined on home rigs.
According to the company, the SEALMINER DL1 Air can provide a hashrate of up to 1.2 GH/s at a mere 500W power consumption. This allows Bitdeer's new offering to help miners reduce operating costs and boost the profitability of their farms.
The launch of the SEALMINER DL1 Air can be seen as a strategic move by Bitdeer to expand its customer base and strengthen the company's position in the growing alternative cryptocurrency market. As Litecoin and Dogecoin gain popularity, the demand for specialized mining hardware for these coins will only increase.
