Bitmine grows Ethereum treasury amid 'mini-crypto winter'
Leading infrastructure solutions provider for cryptocurrency mining, Bitmine Immersion Technologies, has reported an increase in its Ethereum reserve to 4.535 million ETH. This represents around 3.76% of the total Ethereum supply.
According to The Block, Bitmine has added 60,976 Ethereum tokens to its holdings over the past week. This growth occurred against the backdrop of a general decline in cryptocurrency prices, which analysts sometimes refer to as a 'mini-crypto winter'.
Bitmine specializes in developing highly efficient liquid cooling systems for data centers and crypto mining farms. The company actively invests a portion of its sales revenue in building up cryptocurrency reserves, diversifying risks and laying the groundwork for long-term development.
Despite the overall decline in cryptocurrency prices, Bitmine continues to grow its Ethereum holdings. This may indicate that the company's management is confident in the long-term recovery of the market and sees Ethereum as a promising asset for investment. At the same time, such a conservative strategy does not always justify itself in the face of high volatility in cryptocurrency markets.
