New passive earning instrument for Ethereum
The world's largest asset manager BlackRock has launched a new ETF focused on Ethereum staking. The first trading day of the ETHB instrument was marked by an impressive volume of $15.5 million, indicating high investor demand for such a product.
The new iShares Staked Ethereum Trust allows investors to receive monthly staking rewards from Ethereum, without having to worry about organizing this process themselves. Staking will be carried out through institutional providers Figment, Galaxy Digital and Attestant, ensuring a high level of reliability.
Such an impressive debut indicates a great interest from investors in passive earning on Ethereum. Many cryptocurrency holders have not been staking so far due to its complexity and risks. The new ETF allows to receive rewards without delving into the intricacies of this process.
Given the popularity of Ethereum and the growing interest in passive investments in crypto assets, we can expect that ETHB will become one of the key instruments for institutional and retail investors in the coming years.
