Mining companies are increasing BTC production amid the development of AI infrastructure
According to a report by The Block analytics company, three major bitcoin miners - CleanSpark, Cango and BitFuFu - produced a total of about 1,250 BTC in February 2023. This is 20% more than in January.
The leader was the CleanSpark company, which produced the largest number of bitcoins - 566 BTC. In turn, Cango and BitFuFu combined produced more than 680 BTC.
Experts attribute the increase in mining volumes to the active development of their own AI infrastructure by miners. Artificial intelligence allows to increase the efficiency of mining farms and optimize energy consumption, which is especially important in the context of high electricity prices.
In addition, some miners are starting to use AI to forecast changes in network complexity, which helps them to better plan their activities.
In general, the increase in BTC production by major market players indicates their confidence in the prospects of the cryptocurrency industry and their willingness to invest in the development of technologies that will allow them to remain competitive.
