Crypto investors shift preferences

According to a report by investment firm DWF, crypto investors have been increasingly favoring shares of traditional companies over new tokens. This is due to the fact that more than 80% of tokens launched in 2025 trade below their listing price.

At the same time, there is a surge in IPO funding and M&A deals in the crypto sector, which also indicates investors' preference for equity exposure. Experts explain this by the desire of investors to diversify their portfolios and reduce the risks associated with the high volatility of cryptocurrencies.

For Russian market participants, this is an important signal. In the context of tightening regulation of the cryptocurrency market and the introduction of new taxes, investments in shares of traditional companies working with blockchain technologies can become a more attractive alternative.

Conclusions

The trend towards the flow of capital from tokens to stocks may continue in the coming years. Investors seek to minimize risks and obtain more stable returns. In these conditions, crypto companies need to build effective business models and increase transparency in order to attract investments.
