Crypto lobbyists gaining momentum

The super PAC Fairshake and its affiliated organizations, such as Project Progress, have launched a large-scale $1.5 million campaign to unseat Democratic Congressman Al Green from his seat in the House of Representatives in the upcoming Texas primaries.
Al Green is one of the congressmen who are critical of cryptocurrencies and call for tighter regulation of this industry. Crypto lobbyists, on the other hand, want to shape the composition of Congress to be more favorable to digital assets. They hope that their efforts to oust Green in the primaries will help them achieve this goal.
Notably, the Fairshake campaign is funded not only by cryptocurrency companies, but also by private investors concerned about the tough approach of some congressmen to regulating this market.
