Crypto treasuries suffer massive losses

According to research firm Trend Research, the BitMine firm recorded paper losses of around $7 billion on its cryptocurrency holdings. The collapse of cryptocurrency quotes, primarily Bitcoin and Ethereum, has put serious pressure on companies whose balances have traditionally been denominated in digital assets. Firms whose core business is managing cryptocurrency reserves have been hit the hardest - their revenues and profits are directly dependent on market dynamics. Trend Research reports that their portfolio company Trend was forced to sell $77 million worth of Ethereum at a loss to cover current expenses.
